Taxol plus Adriamycin chemotherapy

A multicentre European trial’s findings add to those of accumulating American data that the combination of Taxol and adriamycin (doxorubicin) chemotherapy is superior to standard FAC/FEC chemotherapy (i.e adriamycin or epirubicin, 5-fluorouracil and cyclophosphamide) with regard to the response rates in patients with metastatic breast cancer.
