Platinum/taxol chemotherapy is best for advanced ovarian cancer

Ovarian cancer patients are more likely to achieve a good first time chemotherapy remission with a combination of taxol and cis-platiun (or carboplatin) than a combination of cis-platinum and cyclophosphamide, all other aspects of drug delivery and safety being considered.
