Fluoxetine reduces hot flashes in postmenopausal breast cancer patients

A recent study from the Mayo Clinic suggests that the well known anti-depressant drug fluoxetine (better known as Prozac) will reduce the incidence of hot flashes in that group of postmenopausal patients, often on tamoxifen, for whom HRT is relatively contra-indicated.
