Imperial Private Healthcare - logo square

Imperial Private Healthcare provides private cancer services within Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, one of the UK’s leading academic hospital groups. Working at the leading edge of medical and surgical oncology, they offer the highest quality personalised care for any type of cancer, including breast, bowel, prostate, lung, skin and haematological cancers. Most cancer care is delivered at either Charing Cross or Hammersmith Hospital.

World-class cancer care

Imperial Private Healthcare offers the best of both worlds – world-class cancer care in modern, private facilities within some of London’s most trusted NHS hospitals. Actively engaged in education, research and innovation, the Trust’s specialists are at the forefront of their fields, integrating cutting edge research in to day to day practice, and working with the latest technology to set the highest standards of patient care.

As a cancer patient with Imperial Private Healthcare, you will receive a tailored holistic care package within a multidisciplinary setting that ensures you are at the centre of your treatment plan. Your consultant will be your main point of contact, obtaining the input of a team of experts to find the most appropriate treatment options for you, and discussing the benefits and risks with you and your family.

You will be supported throughout your care both physically and emotionally, with support from specialist cancer nurses and a cancer navigator who is there to guide you through your treatment, making a difficult time a little bit easier.

Free, independent, practical, emotional and social support is also available to patients, their family and friends at the Maggie’s charitable centre at Charing Cross Hospital and at the Macmillan Cancer Support  Centres at Charing Cross and Hammersmith hospitals.

Tailored treatment

Imperial Cancer Care - doctor and patient

Cancer treatment at Imperial Private Healthcare is based on a structured and comprehensive multidisciplinary review process. Your treatment plan will be considered by experts from a range of disciplines including medical oncologists, clinical oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, surgeons, physicians, nurses and other allied health care professionals including physiotherapists, occupational therapists and dietitians.

Multidisciplinary meetings are rigorously evaluated in line with NHS guidelines and all disciplines are represented when discussing treatment options to ensure that the most appropriate options are presented to you. The team regularly review and discuss your diagnosis, tests results, scans and treatment plan to prioritise the best treatment options and ensure that the best path is being followed for your specific condition.
